WATCH: Moment police pounce after two-hour chase - Today News Post News Today || Headlines Today

Police have released nail-biting footage of the moment a dramatic two-hour police chase across Perth came to a crashing end on Sunday.

The pursuit begun about 8pm, when officers spotted a stolen Hyundai Tucson while on patrol in Beckenham and attempted to stop it.

Police say the driver did not pull over when signalled to and sped away on William Street.

Footage from a police helicopter — which was deployed to monitor the car from above — showed the Tucson running red lights, driving on the wrong side of the road and narrowly missing on-coming traffic.
